Get the best Tips for Photography, Makeup and Style in short article.

I know that today the issue of makeup has flooded our lives, becoming part of the daily routine. As expected, it is even more relevant if it is our photo session.

As a Photographer and Makeup Artist, I wanted to write this article to give you some advice when choosing what type of makeup will be ideal depending on the occasion and the photos you will take. It goes hand in hand with my experience with some clients as photographers and sometimes as makeup artists. I don’t want to give you a long introduction so let’s start now.

    You always look beautiful

Sometimes I have taken pictures where my models look natural and other times where they have an appearance that reveals makeup. Everything will depend on the purpose of the photo. At this point, I will use makeup but do not abuse it when using powerful lipstick or dark shadows. Sometimes I have had to lower the saturation only in the makeup area (eyes and lips) because sometimes the photograph’s context is lost since these details distract the human eye.

    CONTOUR AND BLUSH

We know that this trend of Contouring with concealers and then Draping blush can fascinate us from 1 to 1000. Only that, it can also transform our face suitable or until it becomes unrecognizable and not in a good way. In my digital developing process, after a photo session, I have had to use brushes to accentuate the areas of the face. All because the concept of Contouring in makeup takes it to an extreme level. I’m not going to deny it; I use it, and I love it. My best advice is to use it but very soft. Wear your face being yourself in front of the lens and agreeing to the occasion. Let’s remember that a bride’s makeup will not be the same as that of a maternity photo session.

    NEVER FORGET

Take with you three essential tools of your makeup kit for the day of the photo session.
    -Translucent powder
    -Blush
    -Lipstick.

Carrying these three elements of your makeup kit will be enough.

Translucent Powder: The reason is that it is a powder that does not contain any pigment, which will help maintain the makeup you are wearing without changing the color of your base or tone. Laura Mercier’s favorite powder is excellent, creating a velvety and fresh sensation.

Blush: It will depend on your skin tone. The peach color is better for ark skin and pink for light skin. Of course, talking about the color palette that we must apply to a person’s colorimetry is an extensive topic, and I would have to write another blog for it. Leave me in the comments if you want me to talk about it. It is good to look for nude colors, rich browns and pinks, never glitter. IF YOU WANT TO USE IT, MAKE IT A BLUSH WITH A FINE GLITTER.

Lipstick: I love red lips. They add drama to a high-contrast photo. I know that many girls adore this color, and I would like to say that within the wide range of colors you can find in a makeup store, choosing peach-pink tones creates an atmosphere of delicacy or very strong red as a fire for creating this passionate photo. So I repeat, selecting the lipstick color will depend on the style you want to project. The colors will play an essential card because the available photographs will close your face and show pretty details. Also, as time goes by, depending on how long your makeup session will be, it will always be a good idea to touch up your lips. You will help your photographer when they start to edit your photos.

    some IDEAS FOR YOUR MAKEUP

"You didn't think I would fire without leaving you some references. I want to invite you to try some of this. Pretty easy with the classic palette. DOING IT IS GONNA BE FUN"

    glam LOOK

This style is very used and beautiful. The bride wears makeup with a defined eyeliner that highlights her look and makes it look deeper. Remember that the black color will always contrast with the white of the eyes. If you like glam but want something that doesn’t look too strong, this is your makeup.

    ROMANTIC look

A moist skin is highlighted, using cream makeup instead of powder. A spray sealant is used, the prime may be applied but it must be one that provides shine and nutrients to the face, so when applying the glow it will create a layer of shine on the face, giving it freshness and luminosity.
